Portrait of a Fan: Jescyka

We’re back with another Portrait of a Fan and this time I am honored to introduce Jescyka. I’ve been blessed to meet so many fans with deep desires to help out other fans. Not only is this woman a mother of two tiny humans, but she runs a blog about mental health. Beyond that, she keeps her DM’s open if you need her. Jescyka is a force to be reckoned with and I am proud to bring her portrait to my little site. Without further ado, here’s the Portrait of a Fan: Jescyka!

Name: My name is Jescyka R.

Preferred Pronouns: She/Her

Tell Forever Fangirls About Yourself:
I am a mom and a wife. I have been with my wife for 10 years, and we have two beautiful kids Zylo age 8, and Fox age 1 ½. I work in management at a manufacturing facility. I also write Anxiously Human – A Relatable Mental Health Blog.

Chosen Fandoms & Ships: I am a part of the Wynonna Earp fandom, but ship Wayhaught, Hollstien, Avalance, and Sanvers. Chosen Games & Systems to Play; Or Hobbies If You Don’t Play: I don’t play games, but I have many hobbies. I am a tattoo artist outside of my “normal” job and enjoy painting. Favorite Convention Story? If you have never been to one, which would you go to and why? I have not been yet, but I am officially going to volunteer at Earpapalooza this year. ***Make sure you pay attention to the Earpapalooza page for more information about a Meditation workshop run by Jescyka herself.***

What does fandom mean to you?

To me, Fandom means community, inclusivity, and representation. It’s the understanding that there are people like you out there, and they love you no matter your orientation, skin color, size, or looks.

Social Media:
Oh, boy. I am on Twitter: @jescyka88 and Facebook. Or follow my blog: @Anxiouslyhuman and Instagram @1AnxiouslyHuman.
