Halloween Ends is the final film in the most recent Halloween trilogy. The final battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers ends with this very film. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie as her fight for survival continues. Did evil win? Did it jump ship and change into a better horror film? Forever Fangirls streamed the movie to find out.

I agree with both of you about this movie. Laurie facing her monster and trying to move on by writing her story and needing to end it once and for all. Nope, didn’t really happen until the end which was unsettling. Yes, it’s hard seeing young people die even if they did “deserve” it. Yes, Jaime Lee Curtis so I wanted to like this. Didn’t happen for me. I remember going to see the original in 1978 at the movie theater. Scared me to death because who didn’t babysit growing up. Must have been thinking about this because Michael Meyes was in my dreams today. Yikes. Thanks for your wonderful podcasts.
I wish I saw the original in theaters. Must have been such a wild experience. – K
